When I met Alisa Vitti, the founder of FloLiving.com, myFlo and author of WomanCode, during our time at Integrative Nutrition in NYC, she stood out in the cohort because of her determination, passion and intelligence to help all women so that no one would have to suffer. It’s incredible to get to support women around the world.
So often, the lack of self-care, increased stress, and demands are causing us to struggle with our hormones. What I have seen is that women are struggling with hormonal imbalances at a younger age. Having spent time in one of Portland’s top Fertility Chinese Medicine centers, I have seen women struggle firsthand. Through over five years dedicated to womens' hormonal health, I decided it is my mission to educate women about their bodies and hormones.
With the FLO protocol, you’ll learn how to navigate each phase of life in your 20s, 30s, and 40s. Get ahead of these transitions so you can feel great in your body. While I help women in peri-menopause and menopause, it’s important we focus on our menstrual health in our 20s and 30s. Many women are struggling to conceive and I suggest spending 6 months in the pre-conception prep phase.
I was lucky when I turned to whole foods, yoga and holistic medicine in 2001 to alleviate PMDD, digestive concerns, heartburn, colds/sore throats, and neck pain. The FLO protocol is focused on food as medicine. We teach women how to eat for each phase of your cycle so you can achieve optimal hormonal balance quickly and permanently.
